Job Description
Sajha Dhago is a non-profit distributing company established in 2022. It provides a unique group (recovery) program for survivors of sexual and gender-based violence, natural disasters, war/conflict, and displacement. It incorporates traditional practices with current trauma-based treatment intervention which allows access to treatment and flexibility in a variety of cultural contexts for trauma survivors. The Stategic Planning Advisor is responsible for the following responsibilities and duties.

Major Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Advocate and promote the vision, mission and strategic goals of Sajha Dhago.
  • Initiate the coordination mechanisms including seeking support from various national and international agencies.
  • Manage conflicting priorities with limited supervision and develop innovative approaches
  • Work with the local government to establish diplomatic relationship and support for further support from local level.
  • Develop plans to materialize strategy and analyze proposals
  • Provide input and guidance to the development of funding mechanisms.
  • Identify the resources for coordination activities and ensure budgeting, reporting and management of resources.
  • Establish and implement adequate internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial transaction and reports, consistently apply rules and regulations in financial management
  • Provide support and insight into significant company changes (e.g. shift in strategic focus, mergers and acquisitions)
  • Supervise and provide guidance to the staff members of Sajha Dhago.
  • Monitor and control the usage of fund, review transactions and prepare expenditure reports.

Requirement/Qualifications:

  • At least a Master’s Degree preferably in public administration, management, international studies or other relevant field with minimum 2 years management experience in psychosocial field.
  • Experience of working with donors and INGOs.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to effectively handle multiple tasks without compromising quality, team spirit and positive working relationships.
  • Understanding of market research and data analysis
  • Knowledge of company operations and procedures
  • Demonstrable strategic thinking abilities
  • Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
  • Organizational and leadership skillsExcellent communication skills of English and Nepali languages.

Salary:
As per the provision of Sajha Dhago policy.
