Suraj Ratna Shakya is a Kathmandu-based multimedia storyteller and freelance photo/videographer who documents social-impact work through still and moving images.
As a self-taught creative, he has worked with a range of humanitarian organizations across Nepal and beyond, creating visual stories that highlight issues he cares about and the positive changes happening in communities.
He also shares his experience by guiding and mentoring photographers, through workshops and his involvement in a media arts collective, bringing over 12 years of multimedia experience to the Sajha Dhago board.
