A licensed Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience in psychotherapy, psychological assessment, research, and clinical training. She currently serves as a full-time Assistant Professor at Maharajgunj Medical Campus, Institute of Medicine (IOM), mentoring M.Phil. Clinical Psychology and M.D. Psychiatry residents. She also works as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist at multiple institutions, including the Brain and Neuro-Science Clinic Nepal and Grande International Hospital, where she provides psychotherapy, psycho-diagnostic testing, and supervises research and training programs.
With over a decade of experience in the mental health sector, she has held diverse roles ranging from clinical supervision and academic instruction to frontline mental health work in community and humanitarian settings. Her previous appointments include key positions at Shree Birendra Hospital, Kanti Children’s Hospital, TPO Nepal, and KOSHISH, where she delivered clinical services, managed mental health projects, and supported evidence-based interventions across Nepal.
Academically, she holds an M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology from Tribhuvan University, along with master’s degrees in Psychology and Anthropology, and an LLB from Nepal Law Campus. Her training portfolio includes certifications in Global Mental Health, Trauma-Informed Care, Psycho-social Counseling, and Psychological First Aid, in collaboration with institutions such as TPO Nepal, George Washington University, and the University of Bergen.
