Job Description
The Admin and Finance Assistant will be responsible for carrying out all administration and finance-related tasks including keeping records of all financial transactions for head office including the proposed project. The position will provide general help as and when required by members at the office and the proposed project. The Admin and Finance Assistant will directly report to the Admin & Finance Officer/ Expert Reporter.

Administration Responsibilities:

  • Maintain bookkeeping and accounting records including all required documentation.
  • Reconciliation of Bank Statements, Receivables, Payables, and other general ledgers.
  • Filing TDS, VAT, and other requirements as per relevant laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate with various departments within the company to ensure the completeness of accounting transactions.
  • Managing basic office administrative tasks including filing, printing, reporting and emailing.
  • Coordinating and supporting conferences, events and seminars as necessary.
  • Provide general office support including filing, scanning, and copying
  • Involve in purchasing office materials and supplies
  • Able to involve in various utilities payment & collection activities.
  • Overall responsible for logistics support such as: arranging venues for seminars/meetings, arranging for the field visit, etc.
  • Carry out all administrative-related work including procurement within the budget threshold in coordination with the Administration (Admin) team in the Kathmandu office.
  • Maintain and update the record of inventory of fixed assets and other materials available with proper management of the purchased materials.

Requirement/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in management.
    A minimum of 1 year of professional experience in administration and finance.
  • Strong planning, supervising, and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of government regulation in relation to procurement and accounting.
  • Ability to travel frequently throughout the country.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Nepali.
  • Detailed oriented.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong Computer skills in MS package especially in Excel.
