Sajha Dhago is a non-profit distributing organization established in 29th March, 2022. It provides a unique group (recovery) program for survivors of sexual and gender-based violence, natural disasters, war/conflict, and displacement and persecuted member of queer community. It incorporates traditional practices with current trauma-based treatment which allows access to treatment and flexibility in a variety of cultural contexts for trauma victims.

Mission

Our mission is to ensure that women and children survivors of sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) receive support to heal from enduring psychological effects, through training, interventions and research.

Vision

We envision a world free from any form of violence. As long as violence exists, we need to ensure that all survivors of sexual and gender-based violence can access and receive survivor-centered intervention for deep and lasting psychological recovery and transformation.

Training Packages

Sajha Dhago

The Sajha Dhago program is for the women survived from different kind of trauma such as sexual and gender-based violence, trafficking, natural disaster for their recovery from deep trauma, emotional regulation, building constructive coping mechanism, developing mastery through the needle and thread.

AVP (Alternatives to Violence Program)

Alternatives to Violence Program (AVP) is a training program enabling participants to deal with potentially violent situations in new and creative ways.

TRE (Tension Trauma Releasing Exercise)

TRE is a somatic body-based practice for people suffering with stress, anxiety, trauma or PTSD. It doesn’t require talking about an event, feeling or issue, therefore it overcomes the language barriers that can bring up added stress.

CFC (Care for Caregivers)

To create opportunity to express concerns and work burdens that can affect the mental wellbeing of the respective persons to recharge mentally and physically so that person can perform better in his/her work.

MHPSS (Mental Health and Psychosocial Support)

MHPSS includes any support that people receive to protect or promote their mental health and psychosocial wellbeing. Sajha Dhago provides support to the individuals going through mental health and psychosocial issues.
